I am going to try this recipe for spinach soup and adapt the seasonings to my taste. Maybe add a bit of ginger, garlic, cumin, red pepper, tomatoes, bit of onion, coriander, and use olive oil instead of butter. For me a squeeze of lemon juice to add to the taste. We just had a lovely Onion Soup for dinner using the Craig Claiborne recipe from a cookbook that I've had for years.
